Misael Aponte is an extremely innovative Color Expert with over 30 years of experience teaching his own unique advanced hair coloring techniques. Misael originally honed his craft as a celebrity stylist working in Chicago’s Gold Coast as well as in NYC for several years. Since relocating to Scottsdale, Arizona he has built up a stellar reputation as Scottsdale’s premiere hair makeover specialist.
In addition, as a longtime Platform Artist for Schwarzkopf Professional and most recently serving as the International Color Director for Oligo Professionnel from 2015 to 2025, Misael has continued to educate and inspire Colorists of all experience levels – traveling nationwide to share his creative vision through exciting stage shows & in intimate classroom settings alike.

Revolved
Misael Aponte’s Revolve class uses geometric highlights to create elongated rectangles that flow diagonally back. This creates a diffused organic highlight towards the face while also delivering a bold paneled effect when styling back. Whether placed parallel to center back in linear fashion, or overlapping to create a lattice pattern, the use of anatomical points on the head creates accurate and technical consistency. Inside Out
Lived-in, root stretch and ombre have become their own hair color genre. Misael Aponte’s Inside Out technique will create all of these looks with as few as 8 foils. Best of all, it will take you less than 45 minutes to apply without any teasing, feathering or backcombing required. Inside Out also helps you avoid a hot band of poor lifting due to thinning of the lightener at light to dark intersections.

After leaving a career in music to pursue his passion in the hairdressing world, Vincent trained in both South Coast Plaza and Santa Monica. He soon joined the ranks of management as well as becoming a lead educator for one of the largest salon groups in California. Wanting to add men’s grooming to his already strong Sassoon based training he spent 3 years with a hip unisex-barbershop in Venice Beach, California before moving to Scottsdale, Arizona. There he became a licensed educator teaching and writing curriculum for hairdressers at all stages of their careers. For the better part of the last decade, Vincent traveled as a color educator building relationships with salons, distributors and most importantly stylists. His love for the beauty industry has lead him to share his vast knowledge and training with others.
