About Us

It all started over 25 years ago when I entered the cosmetology field.  I started as a receptionist before working my way to behind the chair as a stylist and then branching out to educating for color lines, teaching at a beauty school, producing beauty shows, and finally to my career as a Regional Education and Sales Manager for Oligo Professionnel out of Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

I have always been passionate about education and I started Beauty Inspiration Association, a Minnesota-based nonprofit, back in 2021 as a way to offer affordable CE courses as well as general education and business building courses to those in the Cosmetology field. To date Beauty Inspiration Association has 15 education programs in several states and we are expanding our courses and states we offer them to!

We also want to help each licensed professional define what success is to them.  We offer salon coaching as well which is not a “cookie cutter, one-size-fits-all approach” but is instead a unique customizable coaching program tailored to your needs.  In my spare time I enjoy yoga, dreaming about giving a TED Talk, and spending time with my husband and our adopted Labrador Retriever, Sam.
